  The Director of the Qur'an department in the Ministry of Justice and Islamic Affairs and Waqf - Mr. Abdullah A.Aziz Al Omari officially announced the closure of the registration period allotted to the candidates who wanted to participate in the QARI AL ALAMY 4th international online Qur'an competition.

He further stated that the competition started on 23rd April 2022 and 5029 candidates both men and women participated from 74 countries around the world. These competitors were distributed over 4 different categories such as:

1. QARI AL MUJAWEED

2. QARI AL MURATIL

3. QARI AL SAGHEER

4. QARI AL HAFIDH

In addition 13 different Islamic Qu'ran institutions competed for the trophy of MANJAM AL QURAA.

Mr. Abdullah A.Aziz Al Omari commented that for the first time in the history of the QARI AL ALAMY international online Qur'an competition we had women candidates who competed mostly in the categories of QARI AL HAFIDH and QARI ALSAGHEER.
